WHAT IS WHEEL ALIGNMENT?

Wheel alignment (also known as tracking) ensures your wheels are set to the correct angles according to manufacturer specifications. It affects vehicle handling, tyre wear, and fuel efficiency.

Misaligned wheels can cause uneven tyre wear, poor steering response, and reduced safety — especially at high speeds or during braking.

CAUSES OF WHEEL MISALIGNMENT

Misalignment can occur due to everyday driving incidents such as:

• Hitting kerbs or potholes
• Driving over speed bumps too quickly
• Minor accidents or road debris
• Replacing suspension or steering parts without recalibration

COMMON MISALIGNMENT TERMS

During a wheel alignment check, we measure three main angles:

• Toe: The angle your tyres point inward or outward from above.
• Camber: The tilt of the tyres when viewed from the front of the vehicle.
• Caster: The angle of steering pivot, which helps maintain directional stability.
